Who else will be on an experience with me?

It will be shared with up to 7 other participants plus 2 crew members.

Can I book an experience exclusively?

Yes, a date for a group booking for up to 8 can be arranged. We are doing 8 for the price of 7 as a limited special offer, so be quick.

What is the duration?

Allow 1½ hours in total for the 1 hour Sunseeker Experience.
Allow 4 hours in total for the Half Day Sunseeker Experience.

When do the experiences start?

Morning Half Day Sunseeker Experiences start at 9:30am
Afternoon Half Day Sunseeker Experiences start at 1:30pm
1 Hour Experiences run at various times during the day

Do I need to bring anything?

Sunglasses, hat/cap, suncream, camera and some wear comfortable flat, non slip footwear, such as trainers or deck shoes. Dress warmly and bring waterproofs. There is a high wind-chill factor aboard the boat.

What is the minimum age to participate?

10 years old, younger if they have had previous boating experience. Please Note. All children must wear a life jacket supplied by us at all times (even on the pontoon).

Are there any fitness requirements?

This experience is not suitable for anyone with a serious back or heart complaint or for pregnant women.

Are there any height or weight restrictions?

There are no height restrictions but there is a maximum weight of 16 stone per person.

Do you have Insurance, health, safety and welfare policy and Risk Assessment?

Yes, a copy can be provided on request.

Do you have disabled access?

Sorry, no.

Is this experience weather dependent?

Yes, the experience day could be cancelled - up to 24 hours notice will be given by telephone.

Does this mean my voucher/will be void if experience is cancelled due to weather?

No, we will arrange another date. If you are unable to attend on alternative date(s) then you would need to wait for more dates to be released. You will have up to 10 months before your voucher will become void.

Is there a Car Park close by?

There is a car park with security less than 120 metres from the boat and next to the car park there are toilets and showers, there are also a number of restaurants and bars within the marina. Parking is £1 per hour and the machine only takes £1 coins so please make sure you bring pound coins with you and always allow for extra time.

Can I redeem my voucher for cash?

No, but it is fully transferable to someone else.

Is there anything for spectators to do while I am on my experience day?

Spectators can wave off from the Marina. There are many local attractions all within 5 minutes walk, 2 cinemas, Oxford Street bars and restaurants, West Quay shopping mall (200 shops).

Do you ever have any spare places on the day?

Some participants occasionally do not turn up, so there may be the opportunity of a spare place, it is always worth asking as your spectators may get the chance to join in the fun – we can take payment on the day.
