What is the Sunseeker Experience?
The Sunseeker Experience is an idea that was thought up about five years ago when realising that it is very difficult to get out on a Sunseeker unless you put down a large deposit when buying one.
What is the difference between Gift and Group Sunseeker Experience?
Sunseeker Gift Experience is for individual bookings that can be used to purchase between 1 and 7 Sunseeker Experience gift experience vouchers. Sunseeker Group Experience, is used for buying one voucher for the exclusive use of the powerboat for up to 7 adults or 6 adults and 2 children.

I want a Gift experience voucher, what exactly will I receive to hand out as a gift?
You will receive a personalised Gift Experience Voucher and all details to explain what a fantastic gift you have got.If your deal includes a free Polo Shirt – then this will be handed out at the time of the experience.
If you purchased a Group Experience – we will provide a voucher or a booking confirmation if a date has been agreed at the time of purchase. Any free items will be handed out at the time of the experience.

I have left it to last minute, how do I get a voucher quickly?
This can be arranged by calling 02380 005566 at anytime or we have a voucher you can print off from this website, fill in and hand over as a gift, this is classed as a temporary voucher and you will need to contact us soon after to pay, on receipt of payment we will then send out a voucher with a full information pack.Click here to download temporary voucher.
How do the recipient(s) redeem their voucher(s)?
Just call 02380 005566 or email requests to info@sunseekerexperience.co.uk for dates available and we will send you a link to the required information. Once date confirmed we will send you out confirmation paperwork.
Is the Sunseeker experience safe?
This is an extremely safe experience with fully qualified skippers and crew. The boat has had all safety upgrades for its MCA safety coding which includes a life raft and life jackets for all.
Where do we start from and where do we meet?
The location of the Sunseeker Experience is at Ocean Village Marina, Southampton. Postcode is SO14 3TG. Nearest car park postcode is SO14 3QF. The Meeting point is located outside The Banana Wharf Bar/ Restaurant.
When and what time do the experiences start?
Saturdays and occasional Sundays from April to October inclusive. There are three experiences during the day which start at 10am, 12.30pm and 3pm. You will need to allow a total of two and a half hours for your experience. Contact us on 02380 005566 for details on current availability.
Do I need to bring anything?
Yes, sunglasses, hat/cap, sun cream, camera and wear comfortable flat, non slip footwear, such as trainers or deck shoes. Dress warmly and bring waterproofs. Sometimes there is a high wind-chill factor aboard the boat.
Are there any fitness requirements?
This experience is not suitable for anyone with a serious back or heart complaint or for pregnant women.
What restrictions do you have?
Age starts from 7 years old, younger if they have had previous boating experience. Please note: All children must wear a life jacket supplied by us at all times (even on the pontoon).
There are no height restrictions but there is a maximum weight of 16½ stone (105kg).
Do you have disabled access?
Sorry, no access for wheel chairs, partially disabled people are most welcome, please call to discuss special requirements.
Do you have Insurance, health, safety and welfare policy and Risk Assessment?
Yes, we hold Public Liability insurance for £3,000,000 and we also have health, safety and welfare policy, along with Risk Assessments, copies of which can be provided on request.
Is there a Car Park close by?
There is a car park with security less than 120 metres from the boat and next to the car park there are toilets and showers, there are also a number of restaurants and bars within the marina. Parking is £1 per hour and the machine only takes £1 coins so please make sure you bring pound coins with you and always allow for extra time.
Who will be there?
Gift Experiences are shared experiences where each experience will have a maximum of 7 participants and Skipper / Crew. On group Bookings you will meet the Skipper and crew only.
If I arrive very early is there anywhere near that my spectator and I can have breakfast or lunch?
Yes, at the participant meeting point, The Banana Wharf Bar/ Restaurant.
We are travelling, is there anywhere we can stay?
Yes, our affiliation with the Banana Wharf group means we can offer hotel accommodation and breakfast at one of their hotels based locally in the New Forest.
Do you ever have any spare places on the day?
We have occasional cancellations, so there may be the opportunity of a spare place, it is always worth asking as your spectators may get the chance to join in the fun – we can take payment on the day.
What can spectators do?
For spectators, there are many local attractions all within 5 minutes walk, 2 cinemas, Oxford Street bars and restaurants and the West Quay Shopping Mall.
Is this experience weather dependent?
Yes, the experience day could be cancelled - up to 24 hours notice will be given by telephone if severe weather is forecast. This decision is made by the Skipper and is not open to negotiation.
Does this mean my voucher/will be void if experience is cancelled due to weather?
No, we will arrange another date. If you are unable to attend on alternative date(s) available then you would need to wait for more dates to be released. You will have up to 24 months before your voucher will become void.
Are you a reseller?
No, we are the actual owners of the Sunseeker Experience and have been running for over four years. You will be purchasing your experience direct from us.
We go that little bit further. If you forget to bring your camera – no problem, we will take a picture and forward it to you by email the following working day, we can even lend you some sunglasses!
Can I redeem my voucher for cash?
No, but it is fully transferable. Please provide new information immediately so we can update our records with new contact information.
Can I claim the VAT back through my company?
Yes, we send an invoice to the purchaser, as all prices are inclusive of VAT you can claim it back if you have a VAT registered company and you are buying as a staff incentive purchase/event. Our VAT registration number is: GB 971 2319 24
